Job Description
Veeco is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and develop complex wafer processing equipment for advanced semiconductor manufacturing. This role involves the entire lifecycle of the equipment, including design, automation, and testing, working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams. Veeco is a leading technology company specializing in advanced machine design.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or MS in Mechanical Engineering with 6+ years experience
- Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD, or similar 3D CAD systems
- Knowledge of FEA, structural/thermal analysis
- Experience with SAP or similar PLM system
- Solid understanding of electrical/software engineering disciplines
- Excellent communication skills
