Android Tech Lead

Veepee is seeking an experienced Android Tech Lead to lead the Android Chapter and guide the technical direction of the entire Android platform across all product teams. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities and requires a strategic thinker who can shape the future of Veepee's Android applications while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 7+ years of experience in building Android applications
• 2+ years in a technical leadership or chapter lead role
• Deep expertise in Kotlin and solid understanding of Java
• Proven experience architecting and scaling Android applications in complex environments
• Strong experience with modern Android architecture components
• Advanced knowledge of dependency injection frameworks
• Expert knowledge of Android Studio, Android SDK, and the Android ecosystem
• Proven ability to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with reactive programming
• Strong skills in unit and UI testing
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and inspire developers
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to influence and drive technical decisions across multiple teams
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
