Android Tech Lead

Veepee is looking for an experienced Android Tech Lead to lead their Android Chapter. The successful candidate will guide the technical direction of the Android platform, lead and mentor Android developers, and shape the future of Veepee's Android applications.

Requirements

• At least 7+ years of experience in building Android applications
• Deep expertise in Kotlin and solid understanding of Java
• Proven experience architecting and scaling Android applications in complex environments
• Strong experience with modern Android architecture components
• Advanced knowledge of dependency injection frameworks
• Expert knowledge of Android Studio, Android SDK, and the Android ecosystem
• Proven ability to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with reactive programming
• Strong skills in unit and UI testing, with ability to define organization-wide testing strategies
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and inspire developers at various levels
• Excellent leadership and people management skills in a cross-functional environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to influence and drive technical decisions across multiple teams
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
