Mortgage Loan Closer

Mortgage Loan Closer: assist consumers with their mortgage needs, problem-solve, and provide personalized service. Role requires 1+ year of mortgage processing or closing experience, bachelor's degree or equivalent, and NMLS Registration eligibility. Work at Velocity's north Austin headquarters in a hybrid-remote role.

Requirements

• Must be eligible for NMLS Registration
• One (1) year or more of work experience in mortgage processing or closing is required
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field is required
• Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal/written) skills and the ability to work in a diverse community
• Passion for providing outstanding service and a positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
• Ownership of the customer experience through issue resolution
• Adaptable to a productive team environment where knowledge is shared, and feedback and coaching are welcomed
• Effective time management and flexibility to work department hours
