The Plant Engineering Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating of all engineering, customer and capital projects, utility management, contractor selection and management and environmental mandates, programs and activities. The position also involves budgetary planning and execution, and providing reports on the status of capital projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Environmental Science or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years of experience in Engineering, Industrial Management, Environmental Science
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Excellent computer skills in up-to-date software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Project and AutoCAD
- Ability to work with plant management personnel, outside vendors and suppliers
- In-depth knowledge of plant process operations
- Background in wastewater management, safety and ammonia refrigeration
