6006-14 Direct Support Professional

Venture Community Services provides support to individuals with disabilities through a compassionate and dedicated workforce using innovative practices that encourage independence and empowerment. The Direct Support Professional is responsible for advocating and supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be as active in their lives as they can.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ with reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience working in a residential setting with highly behavioral individuals
• Employees must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job
• Employee must be able to speak, read, and write in fluent English
