Job Description
The Direct Support Professional is responsible for advocating and supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by empowering them to be as active in their lives as they can. They provide support with daily living tasks, attend outings, and follow medical guidelines. The DSP may be asked to assist individuals with medical appointments, banking, and community activities.
Requirements
- Must be 21+ with reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to speak, read, and write in fluent English
