The VdEW e.V. is seeking a Head of Legal Department with a focus on Labour Law to lead a team of seven lawyers and provide comprehensive labour law and tariff policy advice to member companies.

Requirements

• Head of the legal department with a dedicated team of seven lawyers
• Comprehensive labour law and tariff policy advice and representation of our member companies
• Coordination and clarification of legal principle issues
• Negotiation and drafting of collective agreements with a future-oriented perspective
• Representation of the association against social partners, authorities, and political decision-makers
• Organisation and conception of training events
• Strategic development of the legal department in the interest of our members
• Promotion of a team-oriented, collegiate working atmosphere in the legal department
• Observation of legal developments and formulation of labour law positions from the perspective of the food industry
