Senior Telecom Engineer

Verifone seeks a resourceful Sr. Telecom Engineer to support Verifone’s Global Enterprise Telecommunications systems, Five9, and assist with current administration and maintenance of this cloud technology. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in supporting a complex global telephony and call center environment with proven ability to ensure high levels of availability.

Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years professional experience in IT Telecom and Contact Centers.
• Experience operating large, high-availability, redundant telecom system.
• Experience and knowledge implementing SIP and SBC technology.
• Strong working knowledge of all Contact Center technologies including Verint QM and WFM solutions.
• Skilled in telecom planning, project planning, system installations.
• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with a natural aptitude for dealing with people.
• Excellent time management skills, must be capable of multi-tasking in a high workload environment.
• Experience with migration from on-prem systems to MS Teams UC and Five9 CCaaS a plus.
