Engineer - Industrial

Vermeer is seeking an Engineer I - Industrial to contribute to manufacturing and product development initiatives that strengthen operational performance and support a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• Foundational knowledge of lean manufacturing and process-improvement methodologies
• Experience or exposure to continuous improvement tools such as 5S, Kaizen, waste identification, and basic root cause analysis
• Familiarity with plant, line, or workstation layout concepts including ergonomics, safety, material flow, and space utilization
• Exposure to CAD tools such as AutoCAD, DraftSight, or SOLIDWORKS
• Experience collaborating on cross-functional projects supporting manufacturing, engineering, quality, or operations teams
