Job Description
Vertical Aerospace is a pioneering company in electric aviation, aiming to redefine aerospace best practices. They are seeking an Advanced Structural Test and Analysis Engineer to plan, prepare, and execute structural tests for their VX4 eVTOL aircraft. This role involves working with on-site rigs, instrumentation, and data acquisition, and requires a hands-on approach to test execution.
Requirements
- Plan, prepare, and execute structural test campaigns (static, fatigue, and development).
- Assemble, integrate, and operate structural test rigs and fixtures.
- Apply and troubleshoot instrumentation (strain gauges, load cells, LVDTs, displacement sensors).
- Capture test data, prepare reports, and support certification traceability.
