Epoxy Technician (Weekend shift)

Epoxy Technician position with a weekend shift. The ideal candidate will maintain a positive attitude, prepare surfaces for epoxy application, mix epoxy, and ensure proper curing and performance. The role requires a high school diploma, 2-5 years of experience, and knowledge of epoxy systems and surface preparation methods.

Requirements

• Maintain a positive, progressive, and productive attitude toward plant targets and objectives
• Prepare surfaces for epoxy application by cleaning, grinding, blasting, leveling, and repairing substrates as required
• Mix epoxy, resins, hardeners, and additives according to manufacturer specifications and work instructions
• Apply epoxy systems using appropriate tools and techniques
• Monitor environmental conditions to ensure proper application and curing of epoxy systems
• Inspect finished epoxy applications for defects
• Follow all SOPs, work instructions, safety policies, and quality standards
• Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow proper handling, storage, and disposal procedures
• Document work performed, material usage, batch numbers, and any non-conformances
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, waste reduction, and efficiency gains
• Work closely with production, quality, engineering, and safety teams
• Assist in training new team members
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, safety, and productivity
