Job Description
Design and release custom busbar assemblies and tap-off boxes for the data center industry, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs comply with industry standards and customer specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering preferred
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within an Engineered-to-Order (ETO) environment
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes including sheet metal fabrication (steel, copper, aluminum), welding, machining
- Understanding of industry standards such as ANSI and ISO
- Knowledge of regulatory bodies preferred (UL, CSA, ETL, etc)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) required
- Experience with SolidWorks PDM system required
