Job Description
The Behavior Analyst will collaborate with the IEP team to develop and implement behavior programming based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles. Responsibilities include assessing students, developing data systems, monitoring skill acquisition, and providing training to staff. The role focuses on creating a culture of excellence and achieving best possible outcomes for students, and focuses on positive behavior supports.
Requirements
- Master's degree in special education, psychology, behavior analysis, or a related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification
- Valid Virginia license in Behavior Analysis
- Extensive knowledge and skills in applied behavior analysis and evidence-based strategies for learners with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Direct reports to Behavior Technicians
