We're looking for a Business Operations Specialist to support finance administration, government contracting operations, compliance activities, people operations, and internal business processes. As a Business Operations Specialist, you'll be responsible for supporting day-to-day government contracting operations, maintaining contract-related documentation, trackers, and records; assisting with compliance activities; and helping ensure alignment with customer, company, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting business operations, government contracting, finance, compliance, human resources, or a related operational function
- Familiarity with contract administration, compliance tracking, and operational documentation
- Experience working in a government contracting, regulated, small business, or startup environment preferred
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation, trackers, records, and business processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing business needs
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Experience using business systems such as project management, HRIS, payroll, accounting, or collaboration platforms
