Job Description
Senior Project Engineer - ETC (Enhanced Train Control) role at VIA Rail, leading the definition of system requirements and high-level system architectures for the ETC program, with a focus on ETCS, ATP, PTC, and DAS technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Professional Engineer in good standing (P.Eng. / OIQ equivalent)
- More than 10 years of experience in railway signaling and train control systems
- Strong knowledge of ETCS, ATP, PTC, and DAS; experience with CBTC and ATO is an asset
- Proven experience working in complex, multidisciplinary, and matrix project environments
- Strong leadership, influence, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual English/French (oral and written)
- Availability to travel as required
