Distribution Mechanic II/Welder Journeymen

Vicinity Energy is seeking a Distribution Mechanic II/Welder Journeymen to join their team in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of knowledge in the mechanical field and experience with welding and burning operations. They will be responsible for performing a variety of assignments, including shop and field repair of carbon steel pipe, and assisting in training other mechanics.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• MA Journeyman Pipe-fitter's License
• Ability to obtain and maintain current welders' qualification (WPQ)
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Ability to lift and/or operate machinery, tools, etc., weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and work in adverse conditions
