Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Intern

Vicinity Energy is seeking an Environmental, Health, & Safety Intern to lead development and tracking of EHS projects at several sites across the Baltimore area.

Requirements

• Assist in tracking and updating of milestones achieved across sustainability projects
• Update and analyze safety and environmental key performance indicators
• Participate in site inspections and walkthroughs, evaluating the use of personal protective equipment
• Assist with the development of training schedules, enrollment of employees in online and in-class training courses
• Update various tracking sheets, including employee professional licenses, training reports, and safety incentive program metrics
• Develop a calendar for license expirations dates to alert employees of upcoming renewals
• Digitize asbestos records and update tracking sheets
