The Village Companies is a family-owned organization looking for a Senior Buyer to join their MCL Industries Division. The role involves managing inventory turns, negotiating MOQ's, and implementing purchasing best practices amongst assigned vendors.
Requirements
- 4 year degree with 5 years of relevant work experience preferred
- Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Computer skills, MS Office, Epicor (ERP), flexible and can quickly change from job to job when needed, strong negotiation skills, ability to organize and conduct vendor meetings, self directed
- Travel Requirements: 10% - Local Suppliers
- Physical Requirements: Be able to lift at least 25 lbs and up to 50 lbs for short periods
