HVAC Maintenance Technician

The HVAC Plant Operations Technician performs skilled, complex work relating to the repair, maintenance and installation of heating, ventilating, air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment/systems. The HVAC Plant Operations Technician is responsible for the troubleshooting and intermediate repair of apartment and public area HVAC equipment along with the overall upkeep of residential apartments and public areas through responsive, accurate and efficient maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED and targeted job related education
• Knowledgeable and experienced working with HVAC systems
• Holds a universal EPA Refrigeration Certificate
• Possesses a working knowledge of residential building maintenance to include, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances
• Ability to effectively work with and communicate with residents and staff
