Job Description
We’re a physician-led, patient-centric network committed to simplifying health care and bringing a more connected kind of care. As a Clinical Nurse Manager - Ambulatory Surgery Center, you will be responsible for the management of the Pre Operative, Operating Room, Recovery Room and GI Endoscopy areas in which nursing care is directly and/or indirectly provided. Responsibilities include clinical, financial, and administrative management, oversight, and support of business objectives including SMG’s mission, vision, and values.
Requirements
- Responsible and accountability for all aspects of the clinical operations in all perioperative areas.
- Maintain awareness of professional issues at the local, state, and national levels that impact the delivery of patient care.
- Implementation and/or revision of ASC policies to improve quality and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and accreditation bodies (AAAHC, OSHA, DOH, APIC, NHSH, AORN).
