Job Description
The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting physicians, PA, or NP with clerical duties, patient flow, patient care, and procedures. Prepares examination rooms, maintains patient flow, and ensures proper preparation for patient visits.
Requirements
- High School Graduate/GED / Equivalent Work or Vocational / Technical School / Diploma
- 0-1 year related work experience
- Medical Assistant certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or within 30 days of hire
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing
- Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner
- Basic proficiency in computer use
