Job Description
The Medical Assistant (MA) assists physician, PA or NP with clerical duties, patient flow, patient care and procedures. Prepares the examination room, maintains efficient patient flow, and ensures proper preparation for patient visit.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduated from an accredited medical assistant or phlebotomy program
- 0-1 year related work experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or within 30 days of hire
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing
- Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner
- Basic proficiency in computer use
