Job Description
Visa is seeking a Senior Consultant Software Engineer to design, build, and test software products that reach a truly global customer base. The ideal candidate will have experience building payment products, Java backend development, and working with databases, relational/NoSQL, along with writing and optimizing SQL queries.
Requirements
- 12+ years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degree or Advanced Degree
- Experience building payment products
- Currently hands-on in Java backend development
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate and relevant technologies
- Strong hands-on experience in developing RESTful Web Services
- Solid experience working with databases, relational/NoSQL, along with writing and optimizing SQL queries
- Proficiency developing unit and automation scripts using JUnit, Karate etc.
- Proficiency working with Message Queuing systems like IBM WebSphere MQ, Kafka etc.
- Understanding of Generative AI concepts
- Strong experience with Agile development incorporating Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
