Senior Backend Engineer – Kotlin / Java (m/f/x)

Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and other backend systems across Visable engineering teams, upholding high engineering standards and bringing consistency to the codebases and processes, and work with engineers across the company to build new features at large-scale.

Requirements

• Expertise in the development of scalable Web applications down to system levels
• Expertise in different backend technologies (especially Kotlin, JavaScript and Ruby, as well as Spring Boot...)
• Experience with different cloud providers and infrastructure as code (AWS, Azure, GCP, Terraform, CDK,...)
• Designing APIs (OpenAPI, Contracts, etc.) and working with distributed systems
• Ability to work with production systems to successful completion involving a wide variety of technologies and systems
