Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full Time

Vista Prairie Communities is seeking a full-time LPN to work with seniors in a fast-paced and quickly-growing nonprofit senior housing and health care corporation. The LPN will work under the direction of the RN to monitor clients' needs and changes in condition, conducting focused assessments and reporting results. The role involves administrative functions, admission, transfer, and discharge functions, as well as working in a variety of environments and interacting with residents, personnel, families, and visitors.

Requirements

• Must be registered and licensed with the State of Iowa as an LPN
• Must have a working knowledge of state, federal, and local regulations
• Must be knowledgeable about validation techniques, reality orientation, and/or appropriate diversionary activities for clients with dementia
