Job Description
VITAS is seeking Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs)/Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for hospice patients. These positions require providing personal care and services, including hygiene, meal preparation, ambulation, and assisting with treatments. CHHAs/CNAs are responsible for reporting changes in patient condition and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Documented evidence of 75 hours of training as specified in 42 C.F.R. Sections 484.36 and Section 484.36(a)(1).
- State Allowable Training/Certification (AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IN, MI, PA, TX, VA, WI, CA, CHHA)
- CLU.
