Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

VITAS Home Health Aides provide personal care and services to hospice patients, augmenting care provided by family members or caregivers. Responsibilities include home health assistance with hygiene, meal preparation, ambulation, medication assistance, and monitoring patient conditions. The position requires adherence to written assignments and participation in training.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• 75 hours of training documented as specified in 42 C.F.R. Sections 484.36 and 484.36(a)(1)
• Successful completion of a Competency Evaluation program as documented in 42 C.F.R. Section 484.36(b)
