The Chaplain provides pastoral care interventions, including pastoral counseling, to patients, families, caregivers, and staff, focusing on spiritual needs.
Requirements
- Ordination or Commission to function in a ministry of pastoral care
- Endorsement of and good standing with his/her body of faith
- 5 years of pastoral experience, 2 in a clinical setting
- 1-2 units (400-800 hours) of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Master's of Divinity or equivalent graduate degree from an accredited (ATS) seminary or theological school
