The Director Market Development will lead the sales team to achieve targeted sales numbers, develop and execute business strategies, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry. The role requires a minimum of 3 years' experience in leadership and 5 years' experience in the healthcare sales or marketing field. The Director will provide coaching and guidance to team members, travel with them to coach and train customers, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to execute business strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in leadership capacity
- At least 5 years' experience in the healthcare/therapeutics, sales or marketing field
- Proficiency in business analytics and CRM tools
- Ability to develop strategies and solutions to drive sales
- Prioritization and organization skills
- Ability to work effectively as a team leader/member
- Understanding of collaboration with cross functional teams
- Ability to prepare and execute product presentations
- Working knowledge of healthcare trends
- Ability to lead a sales team in a positive and productive manner
- Knowledge of policies and practices involved in the human resources function
- Ability to navigate within automated systems and proficient with MS office applications
