Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

VITAS is seeking a motivated Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care and services to hospice patients, augmenting care provided by family members. The role involves performing a variety of tasks such as home health aide, preparing meals, ambulation assistance, and assisting with treatment administered by the physician. Training and documentation are key aspects of the position.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• 75 hours of training (42 C.F.R. Section 484.36)
• Demonstrated success in a Competency Evaluation program
• State-allowed training/certification (AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IN, MI, PA, TX, VA, WI)
