Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The VITAS Home Health Aide (HHA) provides personal care and services to hospice patients, augmenting care provided by family and caregivers. The position requires performing a range of tasks, including home health care, meal preparation, and assisting with essential treatments. VITAS prioritizes professional growth, teamwork, and a people-focused environment.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• 60+ hours of training completed (42 C.F.R. Section 484.36)
• Successfully completed Competency Evaluation program (42 C.F.R. Section 484.36)
• State Allowable Training Certification (AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IN, MI, PA, TX, VA, WI)
