Home Health Aide (HHA)

VITAS Home Health Aides provide personal care and services to hospice patients, augmenting care given by family members or other caregivers. The position involves performing assigned tasks like personal hygiene, meal preparation, ambulation assistance, and observing patient conditions. This role is 100% dependent on a VITAS nurse and offers competitive compensation.

Requirements

• 12 hours of in-service training completed
• 75 hours of training documented
• State Allowable Training/Certification
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Ability to travel per job requirements
