Job Description
The VITAS Home Health Aide (HHA) provides personal care services to hospice patients. This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities include personal hygiene care, meals preparation, ambulation assistance, treatment participation, and documentation.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 60 hours of training as specified in 42 C.F.R. Sections 484.36 and 484.36(a)(1)
- State Allowable Training/Certification (AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IN, MI, PA, TX, VA, WI)
- Ability to travel and work with a telephone in home
