Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The LPN/LVN is responsible for administering nursing care to terminally ill patients in a VITAS program, ensuring adherence to the Nurse Practice Act. This includes providing direct skilled bedside nursing care, performing interventions like medications and treatments, and assessing patient responses. The role involves maintaining a safe and clean environment and participating in professional development.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain transportation
• Licensed to practice nursing in the designated state
• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing
• 1+ year of satisfactory nursing experience (at least 1 year in a hospital setting)
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience in a hospital setting
