Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The LPN/LVN provides direct skilled nursing care to terminally ill patients in the VITAS program, guided by the Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities include administering treatments, evaluating patient needs, and ensuring a safe patient environment. The role requires strong clinical skills, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to professional growth.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located.
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Must have and maintain transportation with required liability insurance and license.
