Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will administer nursing care to terminally ill patients in a VITAS facility, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This role involves providing direct bedside nursing care, evaluating patient needs, and documenting care accurately. The LPN will also assist with interdisciplinary team communication and participate in professional development.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain transportation to be used for work with required liability insurance and license.
• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located.
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience.
