Job Description
VITAS Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide direct nursing care to terminally ill patients in a VITAS program setting. The role involves assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and ensuring a safe and clean environment, as well as contributing to interdisciplinary planning of care. The ideal candidate will be certified and maintain a valid driver’s license and liability insurance.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing.
- Must have and maintain transportation.
- Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located.
- At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience in a hospital setting.
