Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct and skilled bedside nursing care to terminally ill patients in the VITAS program. Responsibilities include direct patient care, assessment, interventions, documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The role involves ensuring a safe and clean environment and promoting patient and family participation in their care.

Requirements

• Maintain transportation.
• Must have and maintain liability insurance and a valid license.
• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing.
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience (LPN/LVN in a hospital on an adult medical surgical unit).
• At least one year of successful nursing experience, including one year as an LPN/LVN in a hospital setting.
