Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The LPN/LVN will provide direct nursing care to terminally ill patients in a VITAS program setting, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act. This includes assessing patient needs, administering treatments and medications, and documenting all relevant information. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a commitment to providing compassionate care. They will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and contribute to the ongoing success of the program.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain transportation
• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience
• At least one year of LPN/LVN experience in a hospital, on an adult medical surgical unit
