Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The LPN/LVN provides direct skilled bedside nursing care to terminally ill patients in the VITAS program, in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. This role involves administering medications, monitoring patients, documenting findings, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. The position emphasizes providing supportive care, promoting independence, and fostering communication between patients and families.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain transportation
• Graduate of an approved school of Nursing (Practical/Vocational)
• Licensed to practice nursing in the state of VITAS
• At least one year of experience as an LPN/LVN in a hospital
• Stable schedule, including weekends/rotating shifts
• Ability to lift objects weighing over 20lbs.
