Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) NIGHTS

The LPN/LVN is responsible for providing direct skilled nursing care to terminally ill patients in a VITAS program, under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The position involves assessing patient needs, administering treatments and medications, monitoring patient responses, documenting care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. This role requires a commitment to patient care and a willingness to grow professionally.

Requirements

• Must have and maintain transportation
• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience, at least one year being an LPN/LVN in a hospital on an adult medical surgical unit
• Ability to lift and transfer patients
