Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) NIGHTS

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at VITAS Healthcare provides direct skilled bedside nursing care to terminally ill patients. This role involves assessing patient needs, preparing treatment plans, providing medications, and documentation. The position is focused on maintaining a clean environment, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and adhering to the Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located.
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience.
• Ability to lift and transfer patients, as required.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Willingness to work on flexible schedule (weekends, rotating shifts).
