Physician Nursing Home

VITAS Healthcare is seeking a part-time Physician Nurse to provide skilled care in a hospice setting. The ideal candidate will be a highly qualified individual with a strong understanding of primary medical care, oncology, and palliative medicine, as well as a valid medical license in the state where the hospice is located. They are a people-focused organization dedicated to improving end-of-life care.

Requirements

• Must be a member in good standing on the medical staff of an accredited hospital.
• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy with current license to practice in the state.
• Board eligible/certified in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or related specialty.
• Registration with the Drug Enforcement Agency to write scheduled prescriptions.
• Medical malpractice and liability insurance.
