Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse (RN), RN, is a member of the interdisciplinary team providing care to hospice patients and families. This role focuses on providing coordination of care, ensuring quality of life, and ensuring patients and families' needs are met. It requires assessment, consultation, and collaboration with other professionals.

Requirements

• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state where the VITAS program is located.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience in hospice, home health, or community health.
• Equivalent experience or licensure may be considered.
• Reliable transportation with adequate insurance coverage.
• Telephone available (cellular or land line).
