Social Worker (SW)

VITAS Healthcare is seeking a Social Worker to provide emotional and logistical support to patients and families during the end-of-life journey. The role involves ensuring patients' wishes are honored for finances, funeral arrangements, and more, as well as offering counseling and support. Requirements

• Ability to travel.
• Knowledge of community resources (desirable).
• Knowledge of psychosocial issues with terminally ill patients.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to advocate for patients and families.
• Masters of Social Work required
• At least one year social work experience in a health care setting
