Job Description
The Medication Technician will be responsible for the accurate and timely distribution and documentation of medication for residents, as well as providing assistance with activities of daily living and supervising residents on a daily basis.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work well with peers in a congenial work environment
- Maintain compassion and dignity towards residents and adhere to the Resident Bill of Rights
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and agitated residents
- Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet
