Job Description
We're on the lookout for a Data Scientist to join our team at Vizzuality. This opportunity is ideal for entry-level candidates who have just finished their studies. We're offering a permanent full-time contract, and we can offer a salary of €20,000 a year.
Requirements
- Minimum Experience: Entry-level
- Scientific background: A degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Earth systems, Climate, Ecology, Remote sensing, Machine learning, etc.).
- Technical Basics: Familiarity with data cleaning and analytical tools. Introductory knowledge of programming (R or Python) and maps/GIS
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently in English (verbal and written), present your work, and ask for feedback.
- Continuous Growth: You show genuine enthusiasm for growth and continuously learn new skills, tools, and techniques. You treat challenges as opportunities to grow.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: You step outside your comfort zone when needed and respond well to shifting priorities. You tackle challenges with creativity and resilience.
- Team Collaboration: You understand how your work contributes to shared goals, and you actively share knowledge, collaborate, and solve challenges with others.
