Head of Creative Development

As Head of Creative Development, you will oversee the development process of high-quality and brand-consistent designs, ensuring timely delivery and highest quality standards. You will stimulate creativity within Vlisco's design DNA and technical possibilities of production processes, and enhance creative quality by using technology smartly. You will lead a team of creative professionals and report directly to the Studio Director.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Innovation Management, Industrial Design, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated experience in inspiring, coaching, and developing creative talent, including building multi-skilled teams and leading change
• Experience with digital transformation, including AI-driven workflows, automation, and integrating new (creative) technologies
• Strong operational skills in workflow optimization, capacity planning, KPI monitoring, and managing multiple deadlines within complex creative processes
• Collaborative, solution-focused mindset with strong communication skills, high flexibility, and a natural ability to motivate teams and take them to a higher level
