STS Airport Incumbent Lead Transportation Security Officer

Join VMD Corp as a Lead Transportation Security Officer at the Sonoma County Airport (STS), leading a team of aviation security professionals and responsible for various tasks including passenger and baggage screening, operating screening equipment, and directing subordinates.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Level II certified Transportation Security Officer (TSO)
• Be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
• Pass a computerized assessment (grammar and ability to interpret X-rays)
• Pass a medical evaluation (vision, hearing, and joint mobility exam)
• Pass pre-employment drug test
• Pass a TSA background and financial records check
• Ability to work any day, Monday – Sunday, and any shift between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM
• Ability to work independently and possess effective decision-making skills
• Ability to attain dual-function certification
